Cebu Pacific Piso Fare Promo

Piso fare!
Cebu Pacific Air has been offering this piso fare for ages, but I haven't been lucky enough to successfully book one for myself. I've tried many times before but either the Cebu Pacific website freezes up on me or they run out of tickets for the travel dates I wanted. So when I woke up at 2am this morning--I've been on 24-hour duty so I only got to sleep when I got home in the afternoon--and saw on Facebook that there's a piso sale for domestic flights, I wasn't too hopeful. I mean, how many times could I suffer terrible disappointment, huh?

I was not expecting to get anything this time because the promo was on its 2nd day when I found out about it but hope springs eternal as they say, so I scooted over to the Cebu Pacific website anyway. After minutes of scouring and scrolling back in forth and swallowing my disappointment that December 22 wasn't available anymore for my annual Christmas trip home... voila!

my precioussss...

I found one for my trip back to Manila from Naga! I know it's supposed to be a piso fare promo but factor in the government fees and taxes (PHP 250.52!) plus the web admin. fee (PHP 80), I had to pay PHP 331.52 via my BPI credit card which is still a sweet deal. I usually have to pay PHP 1000-2800 one way for the same route depending on the date I booked my flight, so this is pretty awesome. If I can get piso fare tickets for our family trip to Singapore and Malaysia next summer, that would be wonderful.

My Random Travels etc.

hmm... go where?
I've been traveling a lot lately and it suddenly just made sense to me to have a blog separate from my Random Musings one. I've always enjoyed traveling since I was a kid and I don't want to forget the places I've been. This blog hopefully will help me hold on to the memories longer. Fair warning: I take an obscene amount of pictures so there's a good chance my posts will be littered with them.

I just love walking around the places I visit--never mind that I have a terrible sense of direction which inevitably results to me asking people for directions. I'm intrigued about backpacking and traveling alone and hopes to get over my propensity to let the travel agencies do the heavy lifting for me. So here it is, My Random Travels & Reflections blog.
